Taylor Taylor London is excited to welcome back James Rowe. James won ‘Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year 2008’ and is currently in preparation for the 2010 competition where he will be working under the name of Taylor Taylor London – good luck James.

James will also continue to direct hair for many of the top fashion designers on worldwide fashion weeks throughout 2010.

James is assisted by Taylor Taylor’s very own stylists Federico Vazzoloretto and Marcelo Lopez who will be working with him in the coming months.

Lok Lau has been extremely busy lately directing hair for editorial shoots with publications including Noise Magazine, Emporium Magazine, Palladium Magazine, The Quarterly Magazine and Jolie Magazine. He has also been working alongside Samantha Hillerby on campaigns for Topshop A/W collection, Clarins skincare, Rimmel, Hockley and Wella.

Lok was also away for International Fashion Week, taking part in shows with both Eugene Souleiman and Samantha Hillerby. He worked with Eugene on Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Moschino, Jeremy Scott, Etro and Yohji Yamamoto. He also worked alongside Samantha Hillerby on Topshop Unique and designers including Giles Deacon, Aquascutum, John Rocha, Jenny Packham, Betty Jackson, Peter Pilloto and Hugo Boss.

Star Spotting

The Klaxons have recently visited the salon as regular clients of Robbi Hampton. They are about to release their highly anticipated second album and Robbi has been making them look good in preparation for their forthcoming photo shoots.

Personal stylist to The Kings of Leon, Robbi has been styling the ‘kings’ hair for NME, Q Magazine and many more.

Other celebrity clients of Robbi include Calvin Harris, Magistrates, La Roux and Ladyhawke, who are all regular visitors to the salon.

Alongside these, regular celebrities to Taylor Taylor London are The Guillemots, The Thrills, KT Tunstell, James Blunt, Zoe Ball and Sir Ian McKellan.

Our Salon

The newly decorated hallway in our flagship salon is now super chic with Chanel-esque stripes on the wall. The Cheshire Street Boutique has also been refurbished to tie in with the hallway of Taylor Taylor London – both look super stylish.
